About The Project
This project was a result of a hugely enjoyable collaboration with comedian, writer and actor David Brennan, and cinematographer and director in his own right, Kazuoshi Ehara. As a team we sketched out situations that would allow Dave to do what he does best, and Kaz to work his magic. Shot in verité documentary style, each episode follows the same, slightly absurd character who “spends lot of time outside.”
The only mistake we made with this project was to hinge it to a pitch we were making to a marketing and branding company – hence the “Click”. Sadly – or maybe fortuitously – the pitch went nowhere but the work remains a personal favourite.
